Next week BMS will start ATLAS Interim Tests. These tests are mandated by the state and will help us to gauge student growth. Please make sure you student is present on these days, well rested, and that they have plenty of time to eat breakfast at school if needed. Winter interim dates are: February 6, 12, 19, and 24. The BIG ATLAS test will be given April 22, 23, 29, and 30. You can always check future dates like this on our event calendar at https://bms.bobcat.k12.ar.us/.

This year parent teacher conferences are looking a little different! We will feature a student showcase, you will be able to make art with your student, participate in a science project for a treat, listen to band members, play games, and enter into raffle when you sign in using a provided QR code. Refreshments will also be available. Come help up make parent teacher conferences not nearly as scary as they used to be! #BobcatNation

On October 23 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm 8th graders will participate in Teen Summit. Teen Summit is brought to us through the Arkansas Department of Health, Madison County Health Coalition, and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office. Featured during Teen Summit will be Genine Latrice Perez. Ms Perez is behind the Hate the Vape Tour, which has reached over 3,500 students across 11 counties in Arkansas.. Dahlia Lozano will be speaking about drugs and alcohol. Ms Lozano has been studying drug and alcohol information and speaking publicly since 2019. She brings a youthful perspective to her audience, helping them easily connect with her. Arkansas Department of Health Registered Nurse Lana Boggs will be providing information on tobacco and leading healthy lifestyles. #BobcatNation
