We are thankful for #BobcatNation school nurses and their efforts to meet the needs of today’s students by providing and advocating for quality student-centered care and who contribute to our local communities by supporting students to stay healthy, in school, safe, and ready to learn, and keeping parents and guardians at work.

Just one blistering sunburn in childhood or adolescence may double the chances of developing melanoma later in life. At the State Board of Education's February meeting, Miss Arkansas Teen, Mallory Stuckey, a student at Rison High School, shared her concerns about the sun's effects on unprotected skin and requested that the board declare May 6-May 10 as Sun Safety Week. Miss Stuckey again appeared before the State Board of Education at its meeting on April 11, 2024, where the board signed the declaration. As we get closer to Summer Break - We want to share these good reminders with our Bobcat Families!

It’s another great day to be a Bobcat! Berryville High School has earned a high National ranking in 2024 Best High Schools, U.S. News released recently! Administration was notified that the school was ranked in the top 40% of nearly all public high schools nationwide---18,000 of them---based on multiple sources of objective data. U.S. News provides rankings based on indicators such as enrollment, student body demographics, location, school type and results of state assessments, as well as Advanced Placement (AP). AP data come directly from the College Board while other data is pulled from the state system. Well done, BHS! #bobcatnation

BMS Under the Sea school dance is Friday, May 3rd from 6:00-8:00 pm. This is for Berryville Middle School Students ONLY. Ticket sales begin Monday, April 22 during lunch A and B. Sales will close Friday, April 26th. If students don't purchase a ticket during that week, they can buy a ticket at the door of the dance. #BobcatNation

BMS will be conducting required state ATLAS testing April 30-May 2. It is extremely important that your student arrive on time and well rested on these days. If they have scheduled appointments that would take them out of school we would appreciate you rescheduling them. Should a student miss a test it will be made up when they return. Math tutoring letters have been sent home with students who would benefit from math tutoring. Tutoring will begin April 9 and will take place every Tuesday and Thursday until 4:30 pm. Please return your tutoring for on ASAP. #BobcatNation
