Great job ladies! #BobcatNation

From the National Park Service:
For months following September 11, 2001, people came together to grieve family, friends, and strangers. More than 20 years later, we still do. Sometimes called “Patriots Day” or “Day of Remembrance”, September 11 has become an annual day for many Americans to remember, reflect, honor, and mourn.

Attention Families: There was a social media post two days ago related to a national snap-chat trend by a middle school student. District administration has investigated the post and situation and found it to be non-threatening. All students are safe at Berryville Schools.

We are excited to announce that we have increased student safety on our buses by implementing a new card scanning system! Starting this week, students are learning to scan their cafeteria/transportation cards when they get on and off the buses. This system gives us the ability to know that each student is safely on the correct bus and that they get off at the correct location. Please encourage your student(s) to keep up with their cards. More information will be coming soon. Stay tuned!

Picture day is right around the corner! Click the link in the comments and use code 90167RF to order today. #BobcatNation

No one wants to take semester tests, right?! What a great feeling it would be to achieve the grades, have great attendance and do just that. Here is what the handbook says:
EXAM EXEMPTION MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
● The test exemption will be for students in grades 6-12 who maintain an 80%
each 9 weeks and no more than 5 absences. In addition, those students with at
least a 70% each 9 weeks and perfect attendance will also be exempt. The only
exception to absences will be school activity.
● An exempt student may leave campus for the remainder of the day once the
testing period is complete and by following the regular checkout procedures.
● It will be the responsibility of the teacher to keep an accurate record of
absences.
● An exempt student who feels the exam will raise his/her grade may do so, or
may use the time to study for another test.
27
● It will be the responsibility of the teachers to provide the principal with a list of
all exempt students who have met all the qualifications.
● A student who has been assigned ISS/Corporal Punishment or who has been
suspended loses all possibility for exemption for the semester.

Our #1 priority is keeping our students safe. You can help us by following traffic laws regarding school busses. If the stop sign is out, you stop no matter where the bus is located. #BobcatNation

Squeee!!! We are so ready to see your faces tomorrow morning! Don't forget that students may begin being dropped off at 7:25 am. Students may not leave campus once dropped off, even if that trip to Casey's is pretty tempting. Once on campus, stay on campus. First bell rings at 8:20 on Mondays, 7:45 Tuesday-Friday. #BobcatNation
