Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students from Berryville Middle School recently returned from an extraordinarily successful trip to the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC), held from June 29 to July 2 in San Antonio, Texas.
The NLC is the ultimate pinnacle of the FBLA year, bringing together thousands of the sharpest middle school and high school students from across the United States. Attendees participated in leadership workshops, networked with peers, and competed in rigorous business and career-focused events.
Berryville Middle School was proudly represented by an exceptional delegation of 18 national qualifiers. Demonstrating incredible skill on the national stage against the absolute best young minds in the country, several Berryville teams and individuals secured prestigious Top 10 national finishes:
Annual Chapter Activities – 3rd Place Nationally Isabella Aguinaga, Bella Moix, and Amy Ramirez
Digital Video Production – 6th Place Nationally Isabella Gil and Aileen Menjivar
Management & Entrepreneurship – 8th Place Nationally Carson Parker, Blake Dombek, and JoJo Magnini
The full delegation of brilliant Berryville Middle School national qualifiers included: Isabella Aguinaga, Emily Asbury, Blake Dombek, Luke Fowler, Isabella Gil, Mary Griesenauer, Jaylinn Hernandez, Braxton Jarrett, JoJo Magnini, Kendra Matlock, Aileen Menjivar, Bella Moix, Adrian Mojica Trujillo, Carson Parker, David Pineda, Amy Ramirez, Jozi Tidyman, and Chris Vasquez-Perez.
“Our students put in months of hard work, research, and creative preparation to compete at this level,” said Sandon Williams, Berryville Middle School FBLA Adviser. “To bring home 3rd, 6th, and 8th place national trophies is a massive achievement. They represented the Berryville community with immense professionalism, and we couldn't be prouder.”
An elite, life-changing trip of this caliber would not have been possible without the immense generosity of local businesses, organizations, and community members. The registration, travel, and lodging fees were offset by a network of dedicated sponsors who believe in investing in Berryville's youth and future workforce leaders.
