As 8th grade students they should be able to determine what is healthy and not healthy for their bodies to consume. They should also be able to determine how many calories, fat, etc. is in each item that they consume. They will also be able to write out a food diary and keep track of their caloric intake for the 9 weeks.

What food and drink items make your body function better or at the highest level? How will change you change your diet to improve performance and stamina?
